The Chameleon Meets Kamala: David Jolly Invites Harris to Campaign in Florida

David Jolly wants Kamala Harris in Florida. On CBS Miami’s “Facing South Florida,” Jolly said Harris “should have won” the 2024 Presidential election and that he would welcome her — and “anyone” from the national Democratic Party — on the campaign trail in Florida. In the same interview, he praised DSA-aligned U.S. Senate candidate Angie Nixon as a “fighter” who injects enthusiasm into the Democratic base.

This is the latest in Jolly’s constant shapeshifting to try and tailor his campaign pitch to whatever audience he’s in front of.

It fits the pattern. In the last eight years, Jolly has worn four different party labels – Republican, independent, Forward Party, and now Democrat. He’s not a man with convictions; he’s a shapeshifter who will say or do anything to get elected, becoming whatever the room in front of him wants. Today that room is the Biden-Harris electorate, and Jolly is bending the knee to try to win Florida.

“David Jolly keeps telling Florida he is some kind of moderate. Then he begs Kamala Harris to come campaign with him and cheers on Angie Nixon,” said Florida GOP Chairman Evan Power. “Jeffries endorsed him. Now he wants Harris on the stage. Floridians already voted on this agenda. And they said no.”
