This National Disability Voting Rights Week, make sure you have the information you need to exercise your right to vote!

The most important message during National Disability Voting Rights Week is that your vote counts. Every voter needs a voting plan. That means knowing registration deadlines, polling locations, and voting hours. You can find these important dates and details on the Board of Elections website: https://elections.ny.gov/registration-and-voting-deadlines

Other great resources include the "Know Your Rights" section on the OPWDD website and the Voting section on the SANYS website, where you’ll find the “Get Out the Vote Packet” and the “My Plan to Vote Worksheet prepared by SANYS.

November is not that far away. Now is the time to make your plan, mark your calendars, and begin researching the candidates you want to represent you locally, statewide, and nationally.
