Where to find Douglas County and statewide Unofficial 2026 General Election results
Polls have closed for the 2026 General Election. Unofficial results will be available at the links below as they are reported:
When will results be updated?
Douglas County posts unofficial results on the Colorado Secretary of State’s secure Election Night Reporting platform at least three times on Election Night:
- After polls close at 7 p.m., with the first update posted no later than 8 p.m.
- Around 9 p.m.
- At least once more, usually around midnight.
Why does counting continue after Election Night?
The final Election Night update typically includes most ballots cast, but counting continues after Election Day to ensure all eligible ballots are included.
Additional updates include ballots returned close to the 7 p.m. deadline, as well as eligible military and overseas ballots received during the eight days following Election Day. They also include ballots with signature discrepancies, missing signatures, or missing identification that voters resolve during that period.
